An Overview on Bonded Marine Hoses for Sustainable Fluid Transfer and (Un)Loading Operations via Floating Offshore Structures (FOS)

Due to the demand for oil production in varying water depth regions, advantage of flexible buoyant conduits has led an increase bonded marine hoses fluid transfer and (un)loading operations. The system is dependent on floating offshore structures (FOS). This paper presents overview different systems sustainable operations via FOS, such as Single Point Mooring (SPM) systems. SPMs are component aspects techno-economic design FOS operation. review aims present technologies while addressing subject based application, configuration, test models, hose selection criteria, hose-mooring configurations operational views. also includes dynamics, with loading unloading (or discharging) techniques hoses, challenges encountered. To dynamically performance this review, methods’ guidance specified available industry standards was conducted. pros cons application were presented. Finally, study types novel applied implementing Some concluding remarks recommended solutions technology presented review.
